things I found in my “things I like file”
Hello!
On the 27th of March 2012 I attended a show at the Biltmore Cabaret in Vancouver featuring “Bahamas” and “Wake Owl.” It was my first time at this grubby little venue but I really liked it once I got used to the urine smell. Totally worth the $20, let me tell you. I went for the Bahamas but was pleasantly surprised at the local opening band, Wake Owl. Its not often that I run home after the show to download the opening band (which was by donation via their facebook https://www.facebook.com/pages/Wake-Owl/234680239954344) and the Bahamas (http://bahamasmusic.net/) blew me away. Even though I was extremely tired from an early morning work day followed by 5 hours of school and a long drive, it felt like the easiest thing in the world to be at this show and enjoy it to my very core.
This is what gets me too happy that spring is here. Honor Spring 2012.
It’s officially a sunny day! I’ve already started a summer to-do list and I just can’t wait. I’m posting to distract me from the fact that I have an essay due today at 2:30 that I haven’t quite started (its 11…but its just a small essay so I should be okay.) I’ve been going crazy over things I see online that I want, but I’m being a good, responsible girl and refraining from purchasing everything on sight. Friday is pay day so maybe I’ll just do it…but in other news, this is what I wore yesterday. It’s still border line winter which accounts for my layering. But here are some of the things I wish I were wearing today…
